Better late than never, here are the best crop of Golden Eagles since the 2010-11 season.
After 165 responses were reviewed, here is the Marquette Golden Eagles’ All-Half Decade team as voted by you, the readers of Big East Coast Bias.
Jae Crowder, Forward
(156 votes, 94.5%)
Leading off the team is the highest vote-getter of them all, Jae Crowder. Crowder was found on 156 of the 165 ballots cast, amassing 94.5 percent of the vote. This comes as no surprise as despite playing for only two years at Marquette, Crowder was one of the most prolific and prodigious Golden Eagles during this era, and was awarded with the Big East Player of the Year award in the 2011-12 season when he averaged 17.
