Following an unsuccessful 1-2 stay in the Maui Invitational, Georgetown returned to the win column on Sunday afternoon as they defeated the Howard Bison 85-72.
The Hoyas built up a big lead in the first half before seeing it slip down to 10 points at halftime. Howard would pull to within six in the later stages of the contest, but Georgetown would eventually pull away and win by 13 points. The victory puts the Hoyas at 3-4 through their first seven games of the season and snaps a two-game losing streak both in general and at their home venues as well.
