David Goldsmith repeats as the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week after a five-point performance against Villanova on Saturday to continue No. 10 Butler’s five-game winning streak. Goldsmith had two goals in the 3-2 overtime victory, scoring the golden goal at 95:02. Goldsmith netted the first goal of the match in the 18th minute, taking advantage of a rebound on the left side. He also assisted on Butler’s second goal, giving him a foot on all of Butler’s scoring for the afternoon.
