Derek Dodson, Georgetown, Jr., F (Aurora, Ill.)
Georgetown junior forward Derek Dodson recorded five points in a 2-0 week for the Hoyas, helping GU to a take over of the top of the league standings and a first-round bye in the upcoming BIG EAST Men’s Soccer Championship. Dodson scored the third goal against St. John’s in a top 10 showdown which resulted in a 3-0 victory. He also set up the second goal in the 24th minute, in a quick two-goal spurt in the middle of the first period.
