The Hoyas finished the season with a 20-3-3 overall record, won the BIG EAST Tournament Championship and advanced to the College Cup in 2016.
WASHINGTON – Fresh off the most successful year in program history, the Georgetown University women’s soccer team will open the 2017 season ranked No. 5 in the country in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll.
West Virginia opens the season ranked No. 1, followed by Stanford, Southern California and South Carolina at No. 4, with the Blue & Gray rounding out the top-five teams. North Carolina is ranked No. 6, with Florida, Brigham Young, UCLA and Auburn rounding out the top-10.
