Tuesday evening at the Prudential Center, the Georgetown Hoyas will visit the Seton Hall Pirates. Currently, these two teams find themselves in two very different situations.
Georgetown is currently 5-11 in Big East play, and essentially has no hopes of seeing the postseason unless they go on a run at Madison Square Garden and win the Big East Tournament.
The Pirates are trying to do everything they can to avoid playing on the first night of the Big East Tournament. There is currently a four-way tie for fourth place, and in many of the tie-breaker scenarios that play out, the Pirates would be the seventh seed and play Wednesday night.
