Georgetown upsets Creighton to win Big East Tournament

The Georgetown Hoyas are going to the NCAA Tournament!

For the first time since 2015, the Hoyas are into the Big Dance following Saturday’s 73-48 win over the Creighton Bluejays in the Big East Tournament final.

The game was competitive for all of 15 minutes, when Creighton tied the game at 18 after a Marcus Zegarowski jumper. From that point on, the Bluejays didn’t score again in the half. Jahvon Blair scored the next eight points, and the Hoyas continued the run from there, taking a 36-18 lead into the half.

The second half was even more punishment from the Hoyas, as they showed the same ferocity and consistency they’ve shown all weekend.
