WASHINGTON, D.C. – The top two teams from the East Division, Georgetown and Seton Hall, advance in the BIG EAST Men’s Soccer Championship Presented by JEEP. East No. 1 Georgetown shutout Midwest No. 2 Creighton 1-0 in the first semifinal at Shaw Field on Thursday. East No. 2 Seton Hall defeated Midwest No. 1 Marquette, 4-1, in the second game. With the victories, Georgetown and Seton Hall will face off in the BIG EAST Championship title match for the first time. The final will be played on Saturday, April 17 at 3 p.m. on FS2.
Saturday will be Georgetown’s fourth consecutive trip to the Championship game.
