Georgetown levied a beatdown on the Butler Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon.
The Hoyas trucked the Dawgs 78-63 in one of their more impressive victories of the year. The onslaught saw Georgetown lead by as many as 25 points at one point, as they tore up the visiting Dawgs from nearly end to end.
After Bryce Nze dunked one in to cut the deficit to 13-9, the Hoyas went off and running. The home squad went on a 16-3 run over the next 6+ minutes. They’d finish the half on a 25-13 run, giving them a hearty 16-point lead heading into the break.
