The Georgetown Hoyas dropped one on Tuesday to fall to 1-1 on the season. The Hoyas lost to the Navy Midshipmen at home at McDonough Arena. The 78-71 loss is a certainly a debilitating one, and means that the Hoyas aren’t 2-0 for the fourth time since the reformatting of the Big East in 2013.
Georgetown let Navy get whatever they wanted down the stretch. The Midshipmen connected on six of their final seven shots from the field. Consider this: It was a one-point game with 5:13 remaining. And it was then that Navy went on their run.
