Georgetown gusted past DePaul in the Windy City on Saturday afternoon.
The Hoyas defeated the Blue Demons 68-60 to start the day of play. The victory improves Georgetown up to 8-11 and 6-8 in Big East play. It’s the third victory for the Hoyas in the last four games and fifth in the last eight.
Both teams started off sluggishly, producing only 38 combined points through the first 15 minutes of action. Georgetown would go on a bit of a run after that, and eventually propped their lead up to 30-26 at the break. The second half would start well for DePaul, as Charlie Moore hit a 3-pointer 26 seconds in.
