The Blue Demons knocked off the Colonials in surprising fashion in Rosemont on Tuesday night.
DePaul used an early spurt to gain an edge Tuesday night against the 20th ranked team in the nation and never looked back, trouncing the George Washington Colonials by the score of 82-61.
Four DePaul players scored in double digits, including 20 points from point guard Billy Garrett Jr. With the win, the Blue Demons move to 6-6 on the year while the Colonials drop to 10-2.
The Blue Demons began the game on a 10-0 run, with back-to-back three pointers that forced George Washington to call timeout.
