Providence travels to Amhert to take on UMass to close out their non-conference schedule on Monday night.
The Providence Friars improved to 11-1 in the non-conference portion of their schedule with a win over Rider at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Saturday night Ben Benitl led the way for a Friar team that was missing the two starters in Kris Dunn (flu-like symptoms) and Ryan Fazekas (mono). The 11-1 start is just the fourth time in program history that a Friar team as 1 or 0 losses through the first 12 games of a season.
