The Pirates head to The Pavilion looking to announce themselves to the college basketball world as they take on the Wildcats in a battle of 12-2 teams.
Perennial Big East powerhouse Villanova, under the direction of head coach "GQ" Jay Wright, are off to another flying start in conference. However the Pirates of Seton Hall have proved tough sledding of late for Wright's men, taking two of the last three meeting between the teams, including a 64-63 victory two years ago in the Big East Tournament thanks to then-Seton Hall Pirate Sterling Gibbs.
Both teams are currently sitting at 12-2 on the season, 2-0 in conference play, and will be looking to separate themselves from the pack a bit with a win tonight.
