St. John’s head coach Mike Anderson secured his first Class of 2020 commitment on Thursday night, as four-star point guard Posh Alexander (Bronx, N.Y./Our Saviour Lutheran) announced his intent to become a part of the Red Storm.
“I just feel St. John’s is a great fit for me,” Alexander said. “I wanted to stay home and play in front of my family. They have a great coaching staff, and I love the way how they treat their kids.“
St. John’s was one of Alexander’s first-ever Division I offers. Former head coach Chris Mullin offered him when he was just an eighth grader.
