Butler’s senior forward David Goldsmith had a nine-point week for the unbeaten Bulldogs with four goals and an assist. Goldsmith had five points off two goals and an assist in the No. 19 Bulldogs 4-2 win over No. 7 UCSB in Akron on Friday. His five points were a league high for the week. He followed his offensive spurt against the Gauchos with another two-goal performance in a 3-0 win over Oregon State, a team that was receiving votes in last week’s NSCAA poll.
