Brooklyn Nets newcomer and Providence’s own, David Duke, has earned himself a comfortable role in the league thus far. Duke was initially inserted into the rotation when the Nets were crushed with health issues while star players came in and out of protocols. While the team was struggling with availability, Duke stepped up. Since then, the rookie has fit in very nicely with the prolific Nets roster.
After a successful high school career, Duke was ranked among the top 50 high school prospects in the 2018 recruiting class. He turned away offers from Villanova, Virginia, Kansas, and Syracuse and chose to commit to his hometown Providence Friars.
