Siegrist claims her third weekly honor of the season after erupting for 34 points, 19 rebounds, three assists and three blocks in Saturday’s win over Creighton. Of her 34 points, 15 came in the third quarter alone. The sophomore forward’s career-high 19 rebounds were the most in the BIG EAST since Feb 8, 2019, when Marquette’s Erika Davenport collected 23 against Georgetown. The double-double was Siegrist’s BIG EAST-leading sixth of the season, she eclipsed the 30-point mark for the second time this year, and regained her spot atop the BIG EAST season scoring column by bumping her average to 24.
