NEW YORK – The Empire State Building, an icon of New York City, will shine its world-famous tour lights in the colors of Georgetown and Creighton, in honor of the BIG EAST Basketball Tournament final on Saturday night. As night falls on the city, the western lights of the Empire State Building will glow in shades of blues for the Bluejays and dark blue and gray for the Hoyas.
At 6:30 p.m. the BIG EAST Championship final will tip off on FOX as the tournament semifinal winners square off. When the final buzzer sounds and the confetti falls, the Empire State Building’s lights will glow in the winning team’s colors.
