NEW YORK – Major League Lacrosse held its 2018 Supplemental Draft via conference call Wednesday. Each of the nine teams participated in the 12-round draft that also included an auxiliary round in which the Bayhawks, Lizards, Blaze and Launch participated.
Eight BIG EAST men’s lacrosse alumni were selected with midfielder Jack Curran, a former Villanova player being selected sixth overall by Dallas. Another former Wildcat John Moderski was also picked up by Dallas, 15th overall. A third Villanova alum, Kevin Cunningham was drafted 32nd by New York.
Denver alum Mark Matthews was drafted 36th overall by Ohio while another Pioneer alum and member of Denver’s current staff, Jeremy Noble was picked up by Atlanta.
