ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The DePaul Blue Demons softball team will take on James Madison in the Ann Arbor Regional of the NCAA Championship on Friday at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN3. No. 15 seed and host Michigan will battle St. Francis (Pa.) in the game to follow.
DePaul (34-14) enters the tournament as the BIG EAST’s automatic qualifier after taking the conference crown last weekend. The Blue Demons erased a six-run deficit in the title game against Villanova to win 11-10 in the highest-scoring championship game in league history.
This weekend will mark DePaul's sixth time competing in the Ann Arbor Regional with the other five appearances coming in 1995, 1998, 2000, 2003 and 2004.
