BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Yudai Tashiro, Creighton, Sr., M (Tokyo, Japan)
Creighton senior midfielder Yudai Tashiro had a foot on three goals of Creighton’s 2-0 week. Tashiro started the week for the Bluejays scoring the golden goal in a 4-3 double overtime victory over Tulsa. The goal was scored in the 106th minute, helping Creighton to its first overtime victory since 2017. Yashiro also assisted the first goal in that contest, helping tie it up at 1-1 in the 53rd minute. On Saturday, Tashiro also helped set up the eventual game-winning goal in the ninth minute with a cross into the box.
