NEW YORK – Creighton guard Marcus Foster has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week and Xavier forward Naji Marshall has been named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. Foster led the Bluejays to a 2-0 week and Marshall contributed to a Xavier win in the Musketeers’ only contest. Both players are being honored for the second time this season.
BIG EAST Player of the Week
Marcus Foster, Creighton, G, Sr. – Foster averaged 26.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in a 2-0 week for the Bluejays. In an 85-77 win against Georgetown on Saturday, he had 28 points and six rebounds.
