The Bulldogs knocked off visitors Creighton on Tuesday behind strong outside shooting.
Butler defeated Creighton by a score of 88-75, giving them a much needed victory against a fellow bubble team.
This was an impressive performance by the Bulldogs, as they took the lead early in the game and never gave it back. While, the game was certainly closer than the final score shows, the Butler victory was never really in doubt.
Butler started out the game strong on the defensive side of the court, as they held the second highest scoring team to just 29 points in the opening period.
