According to an instagram post by the point guard from Philly, the national assist leader out of Creighton, Maurice Watson Jr., is sidelined for the remainder of the year, ending his basketball career at Creighton.

In Monday’s game against Xavier, the senior point guard’s knee collided with Edmond Sumner, hobbling him, then was dealt another blow when he scored on a layup and landed awkwardly on his left knee, sending him tumbling to the floor.
