This past season, the Creighton Bluejays hovered around the bottom of the Big East when it came to rebounding and blocked shots. Lauded for their offensive performance, rather than their defense, Creighton seems to be trying to brush up and fix its weaknesses.
On Wednesday night, it was announced the Bluejays offered 2020 forward/center Kiyron Powell (Evansville, Ind./Benjamin Bosse).
Although he stands just 6-foot-9, Powell is a shot-blocking machine. He has great length and leaping ability and always seem to wow the crowds with a firm rejection. Powell’s defensive ability is something the Bluejays can benefit from.
