CHICAGO — After losing twice to Butler during the regular season, Creighton turned the tables on the No. 3 seed Bulldogs to advance to the BIG EAST Women’s Tournament Semifinals with Sunday’s 60-51 victory at Wintrust Arena.
Jaylyn Agnew scored 13 points, Olivia Elger had 11 and Audrey Faber added 10 as the sixth seed Bluejays (15-15) earned a Monday date with No. 2 seed DePaul.
Butler had swept the regular season series, beating the Bluejays 75-43 on Jan. 20 on the road and 66-46 on Feb. 15 at home.
Senior Tori Schickel paced the Bulldogs (21-9) with a game-high 16 points, Michelle Weaver had 11 and Whitney Jennings added 10.
