Junior Tyler Wideman looks to continue his upward trend this season for the Butler Bulldogs. And also keep dunking all over the Big East’s finest.
Hailing from Schererville, Indiana (Northwest Indiana represent!!!), Wideman averaged 2.3 points and 2.6 rebounds per game during his freshman year. He progressed during his sophomore year, however, notching 7.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game and starting all 33 games.
Wideman scored in double figures during 11 games during his sophomore season and achieved a career-high 18 points during the season opener against The Citadel. He was also perfect from the field during four separate games and surprisingly had a career-high seven steals against Georgetown last season, which is just one off the Butler single-game record.
