NEW YORK – On the strength of two road wins, including a victory at No. 11 Old Dominion, Connecticut has taken two of the three BIG EAST weekly awards. Cecile Pieper has been named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week and goalkeeper Cheyenne Sprecher earned Freshman of the Week honors. Liberty goalkeeper Allison Schaefer was tabbed Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Flames to a 2-0 weekend.
