The Seton Hall Pirates improved to 2-0 with their 82-58 victory over the Central Connecticut Blue Devils.
The Pirates, who saw their 2016 Big East Tournament banner be raised to the rafters of the Prudential Center, raised their game and emphatically won a game in which they led 26-4 at one point. “Dominate” might even be an understatement as Seton Hall shot a cool 50.9 percent from the field.
Khadeen Carrington led the way with 18 points on a 6-for-8 day from the field. Carrington also shot 4-for-4 from the 3-point line and 2-for-2 from the free throw line.
