The Georgetown Hoyas (1-0) continue their season-opening homestand Saturday evening as the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils (1-0) make their way to Washington DC.
The Blue Devils are coached by 1993-94 Big East Player of the Year Donyell Marshall, making this the fourth time ever that former Big East Players of the Year are behind the bench for opposing teams. Last season’s three Georgetown/St. John’s games were, of course, the other three times.
CCSU’s season opening victory over Hartford on Tuesday saw some excitement as the Blue Devils rallied from a 12 point first half deficit to pick up a 75-68 victory.
