NEW YORK – Butler’s Logan Sabins and Connecticut’s Jared Nelson will share BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week honors after capturing medalist honors in their respective tournaments. Sabins won the Pinehurst Intercollegiate and Nelson tied for first place at the Bash at the Beach in N. Myrtle Beach, S.C. Xavier’s Emma McMyler has been named BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week after a pair of top-five finishes in three tournaments.

Logan Sabins, Butler, Gr. – At the Pinehurst Intercollegiate, Sabins shot a one-under 70 in Saturday’s second round to move to the top of the leaderboard, then put together a strong closing stretch to nail down a first-place finish.
