NEW YORK – Two freshmen have earned weekly golf honors. Patrick Allgeier of Butler has been named BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week and Kaitleen Shee of St. John’s has been selected BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week in the third weekly honors for the spring season.
BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week
Patrick Allgeier, Butler, Fr. – Allgeier led Butler to team titles in the Benbow Invitational and the Bulldog Florida Invitational in Jacksonville, Fla. He carded a six-over par 148 (75-73) in the Benbow Invitational and tied for second in the Bulldog Invitational with a four-over-par 146 (76-70).
