Butler junior midfielder Jared Timmer scored the game-winner Friday night, giving the No. 25 Bulldogs a 1-0 overtime win over Illinois-Chicago, the defending Horizon League champions and NCAA tournament team. Timmer’s header off a free kick came in the 95th minute. Timmer had three shots on the night, including two on goal. He played all 95 minutes.
