Butler vs. Purdue: Halftime Notes

After a grinding first half, Butler leads Purdue 31-27 at the half of this Crossroads Classic contest

- For two really strong offensive teams, this has been a defensive masterpiece thus far. Each team had five blocks in the first half, taking away all easy looks at the rim on both ends. Butler especially has held up very well despite the obvious size disadvantage, but give credit to Andrew Chrabascz and Tyler Wideman for their tremendous effort underneath.

- Purdue's Caleb Swanigan was damn near perfect in the first half. At the break, the freshman forward has 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting, adding six rebounds.
