The Butler Bulldogs had another sluggish first half on Tuesday night against Morehead State – this time, they didn’t pay for it. The Eagles kept it close early on, but were no match for Butler in the long-run. Butler outscored Morehead State 52-41 in the second half and cruised to an 85-69 victory at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Kelan Martin and Paul Jorgensen led the way for Butler with 20 and 16 points, respectively – all of Jorgensen’s points coming in the second half. Three other Bulldogs – Tyler Wideman, Kamar Baldwin, and Nate Fowler – were in double figures.
