As Butler Bulldogs head coach LaVall Jordan continues to fill out his coaching staff, a familiar name has been named assistant coach: Michigan’s Jeff Meyer.
Meyer, who has spent 38 seasons as a head or assistant college basketball coach, worked with Jordan on John Beilein’s staff at Michigan for Jordan’s entire tenure in Ann Arbor.
Additionally, Meyer coached at Butler for three seasons under Todd Lickliter, the last of which was 2003-04, Jordan’s first season as a Butler assistant.
In addition to his time at Michigan and Butler, Meyer has had stops at Purdue, South Florida, Liberty (head coach), Missouri, and Indiana.
