Butler Bulldogs June recruiting roundup

The ‘Dawgs said goodbye to head coach Chris Holtmann, who departed the program after three seasons to fill the vacancy left by Thad Matta in Columbus, becoming the coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Butler saw to it to fill their vacancy quickly, hiring Milwaukee Panthers coach LaVall Jordan, who Butler fans know quite a good deal about.

From a recruiting standpoint, this impacted BU, as they had to act quickly to make sure that their class for 2017 stayed intact. After all, it was the best class in school history, and the possibility of it being gutted would impact the ‘Dawgs significantly in the upcoming season.
