BRISTOL, Conn. – UConn women's basketball guard Paige Bueckers was tabbed the winner of the 2021 Nancy Lieberman Award, given to the nation's top point guard, as announced by the Basketball Hall of Fame and Women's Basketball Coaches Association Sunday.
Bueckers continues to make history as she is the first freshman to earn the Lieberman Award, Naismith Trophy, AP National Player of the Year and USBWA National Player of the Year.
The 5-foot-11 guard earned First Team All-America honors from the WBCA, AP and USBWA. She was named the USBWA and WBCA Co-Freshman of the Year.
