Brown vs. Providence final score: Providence Dominates Brown in 80th Meeting of Crosstown Rivals

Providence remained undefeated at home this season with their 95-57 win over the Brown Bears on Tuesday night. The Friars used a 20-0 run over a five-minute span of the first half to get out to an early lead. Ed Cooley’s team never looked back.

To no surprise, Providence’s height was a huge difference maker. Brown lacks size and the Friars took advantage, out-rebounding the Bears 37-27. The paint was fair game all night for Providence as they controlled the offensive category 42-26. Emmitt Holt thrived against the small Ivy-League lineup, going for 20 points, five rebounds, and five assists and leading the way for the Friars.
