After two seasons at DePaul, sophomore wing Brandon Cyrus has decided to transfer.
Evan Daniels of 247Sports first reported the news, and Cyrus confirmed it on his Twitter account shortly later.
Cyrus averaged 7.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game last season and would have been DePaul’s second-leading returning scorer in the 2018-19 campaign.
Cyrus is the eighth Blue Demon to transfer during Dave Leitao’s second stint.
Per NCAA rules, Cyrus will have to sit out next season before returning for the 2019-20 season.
Per Big East rules, Cyrus cannot transfer within the conference.
