League teams posted a 2-2 mark on Thursday highlighted by Marquette claiming a 2-1 win at Illinois State and Georgetown cruising past Delaware, 4-0, off of Grace Damaska’s natural hat trick. Damaska became the second Hoya in just three games to score a trio of goals, and the third BIG EAST player so far this year to notch a hat trick. Darian Powell provided the go-ahead score for the Golden Eagles, connecting on a corner kick feed from Cali Pyzdrowski. Providence and DePaul suffered narrow setbacks, with the Friars dropping a heartbreaker at Northeastern with eight seconds left in double-overtime, 2-1.
