In The Polls
For the first time in 13 years Villanova is ranked in both national polls. The Wildcats, who are 5-0 for the first time since 2013-14, debuted at No. 25 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 and No. 24 in Tuesday’s USA Today Coaches’ Poll. Villanova is in the AP Poll for the first time since Nov. 29, 2004, and the first time in the Coaches’ Poll since Jan. 21, 2013, while the Wildcats were most recently in both top 25s on Nov. 22, 2004. No. 23/23 Marquette remained in the top 25 for a fourth consecutive week, while DePaul received votes in both national polls.
