NEW YORK – Defending BIG EAST Tournament Champion St. John’s has the top seed in the East Division, but the Midwest seeds are up for grabs as the volleyball regular season comes to a close this weekend.
In the East, the Red Storm completed divisional play with a 6-2 record with two split losses to Villanova and UConn. Overall St. John’s is 10-3.
Assuming all matches are played this weekend, Villanova and Providence will be vying for the final spot as the Wildcats and Friars square off against one another in Providence. The matches are scheduled for 6 p.
