GENEVA, Ohio – The UConn men and Villanova women won the 2021 BIG EAST Outdoor Track & Field Championships presented by JEEP on Saturday at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. The title was the fifth in the Huskies’ history and first since 2013, while the trophy was the third straight for the Wildcats and 13th overall. UConn set meet records for event wins (12) and team points (294) in their first BIG EAST competition since 2013. Villanova won eight individual titles on the women’s side and tallied 197.
