Villanova (11-9) posted two ranked victories at the Woo Pig Classic in Fayetteville, Arkansas to record a 3-2 overall mark on the weekend. The Wildcats picked up wins over No. 23 Baylor, No. 9 Florida State and Kent State. The Wildcats started off the weekend on a high note with a 7-3 victory over the Baylor Bears. VU used a six-run third inning to pull ahead 7-1 and never looked back. Against the Seminoles, the 2018 Women’s College World Series Champions, Villanova rung up eight runs in the top of the third to take the lead they would not surrender.
