NEW YORK – The BIG EAST softball regular season comes to a close this weekend as St. John’s takes on Seton Hall in South Orange, Creighton travels to DePaul, Villanova welcomes Providence and Butler hosts Georgetown. Both St. John’s and Villanova have clinched spots in the BIG EAST Championship presented by Jeep, but five teams are vying for the last two remaining spots. The series finale for each matchup will stream live on the Big East Digital Network.

The 2017 BIG EAST Softball Championship presented by Jeep will be held at The Ballpark at Rosemont, located in suburban Chicago, with the semifinals set for Friday, May 12 and the championship game on Saturday, May 13.
