NEW YORK – For the game-winner against then-No. 4 Maryland, Villanova’s Danny Seibel is named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week. BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week honors went to Colin Keating of Providence; while Georgetown’s Jake Carraway repeats as Freshman of the Week.

Seibel scored the game-winning goal with 33 seconds to go in overtime to give the Wildcats their first win ever against Maryland by the final score for 13-12. He scored on all four shots-on-goal he took and added a ground ball.
