Four Games Set for Wednesday
In Tuesday’s action, Villanova turned the tables on St. John’s, avenging a loss earlier this month, and UConn used a second-half surge to win at Georgetown and move into fourth place in the league standings.
The Wildcats, ranked eighth by AP this week, started quickly against the Johnnies, compiling leads of 20-9, 31-17 and 42-25 by halftime en route to an 81-58 victory at Finneran Pavilion. St. John’s had won the first meeting 70-59 on Feb. 3.
