Teams that finish in the top four in the BIG EAST regular-season standings, based on winning percentage, will qualify for the conference tournament. Conference leader No. 3 Connecticut and league-newcomer Liberty are the only two teams to have clinched spots so far in the BIG EAST Championship field. Standing at 6-0, the Huskies have already claimed the top seed and at least a share of the regular-season title.
